FIREARM REQUALIFICATION CLASS

Live Fire Requalification classes are held at the San Leandro Rifle and Pistol Club OR the Concord Police Department Range. Please arrive 30 minutes early of your scheduled class time. Student's will need to provide 50 rounds of ammunition, per caliber. Ammunication can be purchased at the San Leandro Rifle and Pistol Club, but NOT at the Concord Police Department Range. The cost of the class includes the opportunity to qualify with ONE firearm. Each additional firearms/caliber costs $25 per caliber. Student's can bring their own firearm, or use LPG's loaner firearm (available calibers 9mm, .40, .45, .38, or .357). Due to range restrictions, our .357 is only available for use at the Concord Police Range. Personal weapons are to be locked and unloaded in a container when arriving and leaving the range. No holsters or duty belts are allowed. This is a (4) hour class and counts towards your BSIS Exposed Firearms Requalification schedule. Please select your range from the dropdown box.

The firearms range training and qualification will take place at the San Leandro Rifle and Pistol Club (3001 Davis Street, San Leandro) OR the Concord Police Range (5060 Avila Road, Concord).

STUDENTS WHO ARE QUALIFYING WITH MORE THAN ONE CALIBER, MUST ALSO ADD ADDITIONAL CALIBERS TO THEIR SHOPPING CART PRIOR TO CHECKING OUT. THE REQUAL CLASS INCLUDES ONE CALIBER, EACH ADDITIONAL CALIBER IS $25.

On June 3, 2016, the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) suspended the practice of adding a caliber on a current BSIS Firearms Permit. Additional calibers can no longer be added during a Firearm Requalification Class.
